10 pic update...

i've had trouble getting back into the routine of blogging.  i'm not really sure why -- maybe a combination of being crazy busy? just needing a break?  but, my mom (hi mom) has asked me multiple times "when are you going to post to your blog?", so here i am! :)  to get back in the groove, i borrowed this idea of "10 pics" from my friend sarah.  the idea is to upload the last 10 pics from your phone -- a photo journal of sorts.  ready, set, go...

salted caramel hot chocolate...mmmm!

i purchased this cup of salted caramel hot chocolate the other day at starbucks.  i had a just wrapped up a catch-up-over-coffee meeting with my friend julie!  we shared about life, God, work, family, great purses...all of the important stuff! i loved the quote on the cup. :)

water boy!

i just love this kid -- disney melt-downs and all! :)  my friends were in town for a vacation - this is their little boy.  we played in epcot during one of our days.  of all the things we did that day, he was enthralled with a jumping water fountain!  i think i could have watched him run and chase the water for the entire day.  he was so happy!  it's the little things! :)

snow white at her wishing well!

jonah wasn't much for standing in line, so we tried to keep moving!  we did, however, get one picture with snow white.  i could watch the characters forever...i am amazed at how they stay in character all-the-time!  so fun!

the flowers at epcot are amazing -- even when it's not the flower show!  bambi was at the gate to greet us as we walked in!

jack the dog...

i love this picture for a couple of reasons.  first, jack the dog cracks me up!  he was visiting my house over thanksgiving and he LOVED laying under the Christmas tree.  the other reason this picture makes me happy is the decorated canister you see.  this was a girl scout creation way back in elementary school.  it makes me grin when i look at it.

it needs a little help...

oh, this poor tree!  it's the same one from pic. no 5.  when i plugged it in, i learned that the middle section of lights (it's a pre-lit tree) were not working.  i spent the rest of the evening trying to replace lights, fuses and re-plugging the lights in.  i finally just went out and bought another strand to replace them. so, this will be this tree's last year...i'm springing for a new one during the after Christmas sales!

mmm...pumpkin

 on thanksgiving morning i received a text of my mom donning her best flag football gear (but i chose not to include that pic...you're welcome mom!).  she and my sister were the only 2 girls going to play on the thanksgiving day work flag football team.  i thought they were half crazy, half brave! :)  i would have loved to witness their skills on the field, but instead i was in florida baking a pumpkin pie...this was my reply.

big dog in a little bed (chris farley style)

 before jack the dog could chill out under the Christmas tree, he chose to snuggle up in sage's bed.  this is a regular occurrence for him when he comes to visit.  he is curled up on sages bed...you can see his bed right next to him.  i don't know why dogs do this...but it is hilarious to me! :)

theresa's gold shoes

have you met theresa yet?  she is my little girl in sierra leone.  well, she's not MY little girl, she is the little girl i sponsor through children of the nations.  here she is receiving some gold sparkly shoes and a dress that i sent her. look at that smile -- doesn't she just melt your heart?  i am so honored to be a part of her life through sponsoring her.  it is such a blessing!
